Mind Development - Want to Innovate Faster? Develop Your Mind

Did you know most of the greatest innovators of all time are not much different than you? All modern Homo sapiens, or human brains are very similar almost identical in structure. Best of all it is theorized that anyone can learn to be more creative and innovative.

It just takes a little serious desire to develop your mind. How would you like to know how to do that; innovate faster that is? Well, let me explain a few secrets that have certainly worked for me, and what a few of the top researchers on the subject have told me as well.

You see, you need to establish the most amount of brain connections going the most amount of directions as possible and you need to imprint them hard so the information sticks together. Thus, relating information on one subject to another helps, and listening to different kinds of music while doing such an exercise will assist you too.

How do you go about this? Well, let's say you want to design something, anything, let's say a house? Well, why not go to the produce section of the grocery store and find an item you do not know the name of and think what shape in a house reminds you of this piece of produce or what part of a house might look good in that color. Smell the produce, buy it and eat while walking around a house.

This is how you get your mind to cross pollinate, and let me tell you from experience, it works, in fact, for 3-years straight I had two original thoughts per day, and I have still never met anyone else who has done that, perhaps Leonardo Da Vinci. Oh, that reminds me of a book on this subject you should read to help you in your own personal mind development:

"Discover Your Genius - How to Think Like History's Ten Most Revolutionary Minds" By Michael J. Gelb (also wrote; How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci) and Illustrated by Norma Miller; Quill Publishing, a division of HaperCollins Publishers, New York, NY; 2002. ISBN: 0-06-093790-4.
